Mountain Mama was my youth fellowship leader and a good friend while I was in high school, in Glenville, WV.  She 
was from Buffalo, NY, and each summer would return there for a month of vacationing with her family.  So, she 
figures it was the summer of 1979 that she read an article in __The Buffalo Evening News__ about the NPL and 
[[Mangie]]'s address was given for obtaining a [[mini:start|minisample]].  So she joined up, and after 
that showed it to me.  (I'm wondering if the '79 convention was perhaps in Buffalo, and that was why the article 
appeared in the paper then. ???)
