Event Descriptions

Sunday: Fireworks and the 4th on Memorial Drive

Come and enjoy the famous Boston 4th of July experience! See the fireworks displays and the Boston Pops from the Cambridge side of the Charles River. S-Cubed will be providing blankets, chairs, and some prime real estate along Memorial Drive, the riverside boulevard with the best view of all the festivities. Hosted by Saxifrage, Sidhe, and Sue++

Monday: Pub Puzzle Crawl

The Greater Boston area is home to many of the finest brewpubs in the country (as some of our Krewe know all too well). Hathor and Foggy will be your guides on this fish-friendly tour with 6-8 stops. A dinner stop is included in this trip. Some sort of puzzlish thing might occur. Costs for this event will be, er, variable, depending on your determination and your body mass. Please, 21 and older only. Hosted by Hathor and Foggy

Tuesday: Boston Red Sox Game

Yes, the Sox are at home playing the A's this week, and you're invited! Ticket prices will vary depending on how many of us there are and what sort of discount we can wrangle. Please email sidhe@puzzlers.org by May 1 if you'd like to go, so we can begin working on seating arrangements. The game will start at 7:05 pm. Hosted by Quest and Sidhe

Wednesday: Whale Watch

This trip will meet at the hotel at 9:30 am for a 10:30 am tour, returning around 3 pm. Tickets are $23 (assuming we get 15 or more people; it's $29 if we don't) and folks ages 3-103 are more than welcome. Sax says, “This is a great trip for families!” Please register by June 4. Hosted by Saxifrage

Thursday: Arboretum Orienteering

Arnold Arboretum Trip/Orienteering Experience – The Arnold Arboretum is conveniently located adjacent to a T stop on the Orange line. It's beautiful, and we suspect there are some sort of puzzles in the offing. Hosted by Kray and D. Ness

Friday: Freedom Puzzle Trail

Eric has written several treasure hunt-style puzzles based around the Freedom Trail for various Boston media outlets in the past, and now he's cooked one up for you. Hosted by Eric
