How to get forms over the net

Form Friend will allow you to retrieve forms from a database of forms. To do this, you must be connected to the Internet, since the lookup is done across the net.

Setup

Make sure that you have the host name and port for the Form Friend database server correctly specified. See the options page for more information on how to specify these. If you have a dial-up connection to the internet, make sure you are currently dialed in.

Getting a form

To retrieve a form, press Ctrl-I, or choose “Retrieve form from Internet” from the File menu. The following dialog will be displayed:

Click on the form you want to download, and choose the OK button. After a pause, the form will appear in FormFriend.
