Subject: Re: Derry Breault - Loved Doing Cryptograms - Passed Away 10/20/05

Dermott(Derry) A. Breault LOVED doing cryptograms and was unbelievably good at doing them!! He could solve a cryptogram without first knowing in what language it was!!!! I always found that pretty amazing. However, he was an amazing individual, but very understated about his brilliance and abilities. He taught me how to do my first cryptograms, as I loved doing puzzles when I was growing up. Throughout my life, I recall him talking about his needing to solve so many cryptograms and then he sent them in to your editor. I'm sure this was before the Internet. I am very much an adult, and have not lived at home for many years. So, I'm assuming that it is you to that he sent his solved cryptograms, as I do not recall his belonging to more than one cryptogram association/club. He LOVED doing those so very much, for he did them for as long as I can remember.

Dyeti passed away very unexpectedly last October from a massive stroke. He went to one of the major hospitals in MA., complaining of a headache and some disorientation. Most unfortunately, the tests revealed a brain bleed, and everything went downhill from there. He had a massive stroke and passed away on October 20, 2005.
